Sense and Sensibility
October 19, 2008
Sometimes you know you should not be doing this certain something. But yet your heart and mind are always conflicting, and then you throw away sensibility. Reversible words. Promises. Untenable positions.
I wish we can allow sensible thoughts to take control over the body, such that we will not do silly things that we would regret later. But most of the time, when it comes to matters of heart, sense and sensibility are lost. Troubling. Puzzling.
Like when you should be working, but you feel like skipping work. Like when you should be telling the truth, but you lied. Like when you loved someone, but you shied away. Like when you should have courage, but instead you’re filled with fear.
Sense and sensibility. Give me the strength to change and to live right. ‘Cause I’m crazy like the rest of us.

Amen. Me, too.
Don’t we all? At times it’s really confusing, and frustrating.
